2012 Olympic Gold Medal Winners - 1st class trial/proof printing Variety produced to commemorate Jessica Ennis's win in the Heptathlon, shows the athlete at the Istanbul I.A.A.F World Athletics Series, rather than at the landmark event in London as intended. A Fine Used, on piece example with normal issued stamp. The only example seen of this Major Error - alternative/wrong design, presumably done before the event in London using the picture of previous Istanbul event to show what the future issue would look like and some how this one got used on mail and into circulation. Extremely Scarce - £800.00
